This workshop covers different aspects of research methodology and synopsis writing. At the end of the workshop participant's will learn research question formulation, advance literature search, sample size estimation, epidemiological study designs, sampling techniques, data collection procedure, data management, analysis plan, questionnaire development & validation, managing references using Mendeley / Endnote.

Hands-On Mastery of Advance Data Analysis

This workshop focuses on biostatistics and data analysis using statistical softwares. At the end of the workshop participants will learn basic biostatistical concepts, hands-on data analysis using SPSS. Variables/Data entry, Cleaning, transformation, descriptive and inferential statistics using T tests, ANOVAs, correlations, regressions. Dissertation writing, introduction, literature review, methods, results, discussion and conclusion.

Transforming Ideas into Impactful Writing

This workshop will cover article writing and critical appraisal. At the end of the workshop participants will gain insights into impactful article writing essentials such as abstracts, methodology, results interpretation, and discussion. They will learn journal selection for manuscript submission using AI tools. Furthermore, the workshop will also cover components of critical appraisal, different checklists and principles of research ethics.

Systematic Review & Meta-analysis

This workshop covers basic concepts of systematic review and meta-analysis. At the end of the workshop participants will learn research question development, creating search strings using key words / MeSH words / text words, literature search using databases, protocol development and registration, screening of searched articles using AI tools, critical appraisal using checklists, data extraction. Meta-analysis, forest plot interpretation, subgroup and sensitivity analysis using RevMan / STATA.

Randomized Clinical Trials

This workshop covers introduction to clinical trials. At the end of this workshop participants will learn how to design a randomized clinical trial, randomization, concealment, blinding, different phases of trial, sample size estimation, protocol development & registration, ethical consideration, good clinical practices, data management & coordination, recruitment & adherence, RCT data analysis (Interim Analysis, final analysis, Intention to treat analysis, per protocol analysis) and reporting results of RCT.

Medical Writing Workshop

This workshop covers medical writing including synopsis, dissertation & article writing specially designed for clinicians. At the end of this comprehensive workshop participants will learn research methodology & synopsis writing in detail, basic biostatistical concepts, data analysis from basic to advance using SPSS, dissertation writing, article writing, journal selection for manuscript submission, critical appraisal, research ethics, use of AI in medical research and managing references using Mendeley / Endnote.

Qualitative Research Methods

This workshop covers qualitative research methods. At the end of workshop participants will learn Introduction to qualitative research, formulating qualitative research questions, study design, sample size, sampling technique, ethics and PPI, data collection using in-depth Interviews / focus groups discussions, credibility, qualitative research systematic reviews, data analysis techniques, documentary analysis and writeup.

Advance Regression and Survival Analysis

This workshop covers advance regression and survival analysis. At the end of this workshop participants will learn Introduction to regression analysis, linear regression model & least square, logistic regression model, binary logistic regression, multinomial logistic regressions, COX regression. Introduction to survival analysis, preliminaries and censored data, survival functions, hazard function, product limit estimates and Kaplan Mier test.

Artificial Intelligence in Health Research

This course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the process of designing and writing a research paper. The workshop will cover the basics of AI and its application in research, and how AI tools can assist in the research process. Participants will learn how to use AI tools to generate research ideas, analyze data, improve the writing process and ethical aspects of AI.
